A pedestrian has been killed following a serious collision in north London, Ont., over the weekend.
Officers say emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Adelaide Street North and Glenora Drive on Sunday around 5:35 p.m.
In an update released on Monday, police said that as a result of the collision, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 83-year-old William (Bill) Robinson of London.
The vehicle involved reportedly remained at scene, however, police believe a second vehicle was involved.
Adelaide Street was closed between Fanshawe Park Road East and Glenora Drive, but has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area that evening or who may have dashcam or security footage that could assist with the investigation to contact police.
